Research Project
Participation Role: Contents Planning / UI Design / Hardware Programming

I saw the potential of the Microsoft Kinect Sensor, and researched a new way of interactive media with it. We made a sample content piece with a real-time 3d engine and miniature car showroom connected to the Kinect. People can view cars and customize a car on the screen by simply motioning a hand. No tangible interface is necessary. The content is also connected with a miniature car showroom in order to rotate a car turntable which is chosen by a user. This content provides a fun software and hardware experience controlled only by a hand. This content can be installed both indoor and outdoor of the car showroom and if it is connected with real car turntables, the user can have a ‘Wow’ experience.
