We have a long history of a conflict between different skin tones. “How different are we?” This is the question John started with, and we started to build a skin tone detection program and visualizing it. We have more than 200 people participating at the ITP WinterShow, and we could see our skins belong to a narrow spectrum of colors. We are not different in terms of colors. Why in the world did we discriminate each other in a narrow spectrum of colors?
